Miami sprints to 88-64 WIN!

Miami tuned on the jets in the second half to beat Southern Miss, 88-64, at the Watsco Center on Saturday.
Playing short-handed due to injuries, the Canes struggled in the first half, shooting only 35.5% going into the break tied at 34. Miami (8-2) came out sprinting in the second half with a 14-0 run to build a 64-46 lead. The Canes shot 56.8 percent in the second half and finished shooting 47.1 percent (32 of 68) for the game.
Center Timo Malovec came off the bench to ignite the Canes with 13 points in the second half. He finished with 16 points. Malik Reneau led Miami’s scoring 21 points and Tre Donaldson turned in ahis second double-double with 12 points and a career-high 11 assists.
Miami will host Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, December 13th.
