The Buckeyes will be wearing jersey patches advertising JPMorganChase this season, according to ESPN The deal will be worth $17M per year for patches on all 36 athletic team jerseys.

Stanford football players unionizing?

Stanford football players have formed a campus chapter of the College Football Players Association. The players have not yet petitioned to form a union or be deemed employees of the university. However, it could mark the first step toward building a structure for college athletes to collectively bargain like professional athletes. If successful, Stanford football could be the first team to eventually unionize.

Michigan buys out Athletic Director

The Wolverines have agreed to buy out the three remaining years on the contract of athletic director Warde Manuel, according to The Associated Press. Manuel will receive a lump sum of $7.14 million as part of his separation agreement and receive athletic director perks such as tickets to Michigan games and golf privileges. The university also agreed to make a $108,000 contribution to his retirement account and pay his attorney fees of $82,000.

Alabama NIL Content Director arrested

The NIL content director for Yea Alabama, Robert Aaron Suttles, was arrested Thursday for solicitation of prostitution during a human trafficking operation in Shelby County, Alabama.
