Miami, under head coach Mario Cristobal, has rebuilt the Canes’ roster through a three-pronged talent acquisition strategy of high school recruiting, selective transfer portal recruiting and the financial power of name-image-likeness. It has resulted in a deep and talented roster of blue chip recruits that will be a sustainable force for decades to come,

The 2027 recruiting cycle is a beautiful example of SELECTIVE recruiting. After three years of massive talent acquisition, Cristobal and his staff have shifted to the secretive strategy to augment their already talented roster. As of this writing, Miami has 17 verbal commitments, currently ranked the #3 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. However, Miami’s earlier aggressive rebuild is said to be shifting to a selective class, smaller the the previous three classes. The 2027 class is estimated will be in the range of 20-22 recruits.

That means, that with six months left until pen officially meets paper, Miami has only 3-5 scholarship slots in the class. However, there are many more talented prospect still being recruited.

Below is a list, in alphabetical order, of ten top targets still high on Miami’s board.
