This week was not a good week for Miami recruiting. The Canes lost major recruiting battles in the trenches on both sides of the line of scrimmage. There’s no way to sugar coat it. The loss of OT Mark Matthews, DT David Folorunsho and DL Xavier Muhammad really hurt. Perhaps Mario Cristobal and his staff can shift to a long game strategy for the blue chip prospects but it will be a steep uphill climb. Can Miami pivot to other options?
