After decades of failed enforcement of the rules of the game, the NCAA is about to abandon their traditional rules enforcement mission.
It’s being nationally reported that as soon as the House Settlement is approved, the NCAA will give up its traditional rules enforcement mission. A new independent entity, the College Sports Commission, will be formed and led by a CEO with powers not seen before.
The CEO will have the final say in punishments and deciding when rules have been violated, according to sources. The new CEO will report to a board of directors that will included the conference presidents of the Big Ten, SEC, ACC and Big12. It’s also been reported the CEO has no prior college athletics background.
This unprecedented move is expected to happen very soon.
Hold onto your seat.! There’s about to be a new sheriff in town!
GO CANES!
