It’s coming down to decision time for 2016 five-star scoring guard Brandon McCoy Jr (Chatsworth, CA - Sierra Canyon).

At 6’-5”/190, Brandon is rated 99, ranked the #3 scoring guard and the #14 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Brandon has 22 scholarship offers. He’s cut down his top tier of schools to four, including Miami, Arkansas, Michigan and Alabama .He has made his visits and is now at the final phase of the decision making process with his parents.

A physically imposing guard, Brandon brings a powerful build with long arms (almost 6’-10” wingspan) . He also is very fast and uses it to violently attack on offense. He’s also an elite defender that uses his combination of size, speed and high-motor to quickly transition off the defensive boards. While still a bit raw with his skills development, Brandon can impose his will on both ends of the floor.
