Mario Cristobal and his staff are one of the best recruiting teams in America. Since arriving at Miami, they have consistently landed top recruiting classes.
With the Canes’ continued success on field, there is no reason to not expect Miami to land another blue-chip class in 2027.
CaneReports’ volunteer staff recently began dreaming about what the 2027 class might look like by signing day in December. This is NOT a projection and we did not use any inside intel. Just a bunch of Cane fans wishing and dreaming. The qualifier is our candidates needed to still be realistic.
Let’s take a very early swing at it.
Quarterback: (need 1)
Gunner Rivers
Running Back: (need 2)
Kemon Spell

BOTTOM LINE:
The above class numbers 27 prospects. We expect additional prospects to emerge over this year. We also don’t expect the Canes to land all of the above prospects.
The above class would score 321.08. In 2026, that would be good for #1. In 2025…#1. In 2024…#1. In 2023… #2.
Right now this class is only a dream. As we progress down the road, it will evolve to a REALISTIC look at the class (mid-summer) and finally to a MOCK projection by the fall.
It will be interesting to see if Miami’s on-field success translates to another top ten recruiting class.
GO CANES!
