MERCY! Canes bombed 11-1

Miami (35-17, 15-14 ACC) dropped the second game of the finale season series to #11 Florida State, 11-1, on Friday. The Seminole win clinched the weekend series.

The game was stopped after eight innings under the 10-run “mercy rule” in college baseball. The Noles had their way with Miami pitching while Miami’s bats were again silent and the defense committed three errors.

First pitch for the last game in the regular season is set for 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, with coverage on ACCNX and WVUM 90.5 FM.
