Miami powered their way past Louisville, 10-8, on Saturday at Mark Light Field and won the critical weekend series.

The Canes scored 32 runs in the series.

Miami (35-15, 15-12 ACC) bounced back from a 16-9 loss on Friday. The Canes brought their power bats again on Saturday, blasting four home runs. Alex Sosa led the way with two home runs and five runs batted in. Dylan Dubovik and Vance Sheahan each homered and knocked in a pair of runs.

Miami's bullpen came up big in this critical game. TJ Coats (6-2), Jake Durso and Lyndon Glidewell each tossed a scoreless inning after Miami took the lead in the sixth inning. Glidewell struck out all three batters on called strikes he faced in the ninth to end the game.

The Canes go on the road to Tallahassee to close out the regular season against rival Florida State. The three-game series begins on Thursday. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. ET with coverage on ACCNX.

GO CANES!
