Miami opened their season with a thrilling upset victory over #6 Notre Dame, 27-24, this past Sunday.

The now #5 Canes will next host Bethune-Cookman at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday night, September 6th. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.

Bethune-Cookman opened their season with a 42-9 loss to Florida International. The Wildcats generated 346 total yards of offense in the loss, but their defense gave up 456 yards to FIU. Bethune-Cookman went only 5/15 and 0/3 in 3rd and 4th down situations.

The Wildcats are led by senior quarterback Timmy McClain, who went 18-28 (64.%) for 164 yards (5.9 ypa.). Bethune-Cookman’s rushing attack is led by senior Marqui Johnson.
