Three Canes Go In First Round!

The Miami Hurricanes had three players selected in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

Offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the New York Giants with the 10th overall pick .

Defensive end Rueben Bain was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 15th overall pick.

Defensive end Akheem Mesidor was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Chargers with the 22nd overall pick.

The last time Miami had at least three players selected in the first round was in 2007 when  Brandon Meriweather, Jon Beason and Greg Olsen had their names called.
