Miami completed a run to the national championship game, winning 13 games, while capturing another top ten recruiting class.
Head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff have already back evaluating and offering scholarships to 273 prospective prospects in the 2027 class. To date, Miami has received FOUR non-binding verbal commitments.

OVERVIEW: Miami carried eleven defensive linemen (David Blay Jr. Armondo Blount, Artavius Jones, Hayden Lowe, Ahmad Moten Sr. Daylen Russell, Justin Scott, Cole McConathy, Donta Simpson ) on the 2025 roster, with Blay exhausting his eligibility after the season. At this time, Daylen Russell, Donta Simpson, Artavius Jones have entered the portal. Joining this room in 2026 will be Keshawn Stancil, Logan Nagle, and Frederic Sainteus as true freshmen. Joining from the portal are DT Keona Davis and DT Jarquez Carter.
Miami prefers to carry 10-12 DL on the roster.
Look for Miami to sign 3-4 DL in the 2027 recruiting class.
