For the second time in a week, Miami welcomed two verbal commitments to the 2027 recruiting class. It started with the commitment of four-star interior offensive lineman Jatori Williams (Phenix City, AL - Central Phenix City), followed later in the evening by four star linebacker Aroson Randle Jr. (Garner, N.C. - Garner).
The day started when offensive line coach Alex Mirabal welcomed IOL Jatori Williams to the class. At 6’-5”/320, Jatori is rated 95, ranked the #7 IOL and the # 104 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. Jatori chose Miami over Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Florida State among his 22 scholarship offers.

Jatori is an elite offensive guard who brings multi-sport athleticism (basketball). He’s a huge big body lineman and athletic space eater. He has heavy hands and redirects easily. With his excellent balance and posture, he demonstrates the ability to pull and reach the second level, while also being strong in pass sets. Jatori projects as an interior lineman at the Power Four level for a college playoff contender.
Later in the day, defensive coordinator Corey Hethermen welcomed elite four-star linebacker Aroson Randle Jr. (Garner, N.C. - Garner) to Miami’s 2027 recruiting class. AJ chose Miami over such schools as South Carolina, Ohio State, Georgia, and Florida.

At 6’-3”/210, Aroson is rated 95, ranked the #6 linebacker and the #95 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Aroson is an elite linebacker prospect (#6) in this recruiting cycle. He comes from a very solid athletic family. He brings athleticism, playing track and basketball in addition to football. He’s a three-sport athlete who just won a state championship in the 300-meter hurdles. He’s taken that track speed to the gridiron. He’s a sideline to sideline backer that brings the hammer. He’s also effective in coverage with good length and growth potential. Aroson is a potential impact defender for a College Football Playoff contender with speed, size and a nose for the football.
Miami’s 2027 recruiting class now has 15 verbal commitments and is ranked #4 in the nation.
Welcome to the U, Jatori and Aroson! Welcome to the family!
