Miami has landed the commitment of former Oregon State safety Conrad Hussey from the transfer portal on Tuesday.

At 6’/191, Conrad is a south Florida native (St. Thomas Aquinas) who originally signed with Florida State in 2023 before transferring to Oregon State in 2025. He is rated 94, ranked the #9 safety and the #112 overall transfer in this cycle.

During his two seasons with FSU, Conrad appeared in 19 games and totaled 40 tackles, one interception, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. In 2025, Conrad appeared in three games and totaled 47 defensive snaps, thus able to red shirt. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Conrad joins a Miami safety room that includes Zechariah Poyser, Bryce Fitzgerald, Omar Thornton, and Dylan Day.
