Miami landed the verbal commitment of four-star wide receiver Somourian Wingo (St. Augustine, FL - St. Augustine) on Thursday afternoon.

Somourian chose Miami over Florida and South Carolina in a major win against the SEC. He is Miami’s twenty-first commitment to the 2026 recruiting class, now ranked #10 in the nation and #1 in the ACC.

At 6’-2”/180, Somourian is rated 93, ranked the #24 wide receiver and the #160 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, according to the 247Sport Composite.

Somourian is an accomplished multi-sport athlete (football basketball, track). In 2024, he caught 65 passes for 1,040 yards (16.8 YPC) and 12 TDs. He projects as a potential impact player with size, route discipline, quick feet, lateral agility and play-making ability.
