AD Dan Radakovich retiring…

University of Miami athletic director Dan Radakovich according to multiple reports.

Radakovich has led Miami’s athletic programs since 2021. He arrived at Coral Gables from Clemson after ten years as Tigers’ athletic director. In 2017, Radakovich was named Sports Business Daily's Athletic Director of the Year in 2017. Prior to his tenure at Clemson, he was at Georgia Tech from 2006-2012.

During Radakovich’s time in Coral Gables, Miami’s football team played for the National Championship in 2025 and the men's basketball team made it to the Final Four during the 2022-23 season. He has also overseen the expansion of the Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility, scheduled to open this fall.

Speculation has already begun about his successor. It’s been reported that Miami is considering multiple candidates including Michael Yormark, Jim Frevola and Jeff Purinton. More on these candidates coming.

Miami’s next athletic director will play a major role in the next wave of conference realignment coming by the early 2030s.
