Miami’s bats didn’t show up on Wednesday night, Canes fall to South Florida, 4-2.
The Canes could only muster six hits against the Bulls, while Miami starter, TJ Coats (5-2) pitched a solid game, going six innings, giving up three runs (two earned), on seven hits. Alex Sosa and Max Galvin drove in Miami’s two runs.
The loss marked the first loss for Miami in a mid-week game this season.
Miami (27-10) returns to action on Friday night for a three-game series against Stanford at Light Field. First pitch is set for 9:00 P.M ET, with coverage on ACCNX and WVUM.
