Miami defensive pass game coordinator and cornerbacks coach Zac Etheridge left Miami on Friday evening for the Arizona Cardinals.
The Canes’ defensive staff turned Miami’s backfield around in 2025 into one of the best in the country. Coach Etheridge was a major contributor in the the turnaround.
We wish coach Etheridge all the best as he continues his coaching career in the NFL.
Miami will now begin a search for a replacement. The early speculation candidates include Terry Jefferson (Miami), Nick Monroe (Minnesota), AazaarAbdul-Rahim (Maryland), Corey Raymond (LSU), Donte Williams (Georgia), Rod Ojong and Doug Belk (former USC).
