Could a big change in college eligibility be coming?
According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the NCAA will seriously consider a changing college athletic eligibility to five years from the current 5 years to play four seasons in all sports. It means the elimination of the redshirt and medical exemptions.
The NCAA will begin organizational discussions early this year.
