Nine Canes drafted! Are we back?

After a national championship game appearance, Miami’s players earned the fruits of their labor this weekend at the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.

Nine Miami Hurricanes were drafted.

Miami’s nine picks this weekend is the most Hurricane players selected since 2017. The Canes are tied with Ohio State and Texas A&M for the most draft picks in this year's draft. Three Hurricanes were selected in the first round, the first time since 2007.

Miami is tied for the fourth-most in Miami history, trailing only the 11 selected in 2002, 1991 and 1988.

Miami’s 16 draft picks in the last two years is the most in a two-year period since 2003-04, when they had 17 players selected.
