More than forty top recruiting targets will be on campus this weekend, starting on Thursday.

Elite and blue chip prospects will attend spring practices and be entertained at a Pool Party at head coach Mario Cristobal’s home near campus on Saturday. This weekend has been called the biggest recruiting weekend in the Cristobal era.

Headlining the visitor list will be elite talent such as Roswell (Ga.) five-star EDGE DJ Jacobs, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas five-star offensive lineman Mark Matthews, and Harper Woods (Mich.) wide receiver Dakota Guerrant.

Other blue chip prospects such as Columbia (SC) EDGE Jaiden Bryant, Denver (NC) tight end Jaxon Dollar, Bradenton (Fla.) wide receiver Eric McFarland, Cornelius (NC) cornerback Joshua Dobson, and Douglasville (Ga.) offensive tackle Joshua Sam-Epelle will make the trip to Coral Gables.

Other notable visitors will include Palm Beach (Fla.) offensive lineman and Miami commit Zaquan Linton, Durham (NC) defensive lineman Xavier Perkins, Key West (Fla.) defensive lineman and Miami commit Josh Johnson, and West Boca (Fla.) defensive lineman Jamar Thompson, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) tight end and Miami commit Demarcus Deroche, Lincolnton (NC) linebacker Jalaythan Mayfield, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) defensive back Jaden Carey, Hollywood (Fla.) defensive back and Miami commit Sherrod Gourdine, Powder Springs (Ga.) cornerback Kayden Battle, and Alabaster (Ala.) safety Junior Tu'upo

BOTTOM LINE:

Miami’s late spring practice start, due to their CFP run, my turn out to be a blessing in disguise. All in all, more than forty top recruiting prospects will be expose to the “Miami Way” this week.
