Miami head coach Jai Lucas landed another 2026 verbal commitment when power forward Chris Birden (New Orleans, LA - South Kent Schoo) pledged to the Canes late Tuesday.
At 6’10”/190, Chris is the second high school recruit in Miami’s 2026 recruiting class. At this time he is unrated and unranked. However, he immediately brings athleticism, depth and versatility to Miami’s front court.
Miami now has eight players projected on the 2026-27 roster.
