WELCOME to the U, Egor Ryzhov!

Miami has signed center Egor Ryzhov (Russia, RUS - Zenit Saint Petersburg) on Wednesday.

Egor, a native of Russia, is the third member of Miami’s 2026 recruiting class and 9th new player on the Canes’ roster for the upcoming season.

At 6’-11”/220, Egor averaged 11.7 points and 5.9 rebounds in 41 games for BC Enisey in the VTB United League last season.

"Egor is a talented front court player who brings great size, skill and international experience to our program," said head coach Jai Lucas in a released statement. "He has a strong feel for the game, can impact both ends of the floor and gives us another versatile piece in the paint. We're excited to welcome him to Miami and look forward to helping him continue to develop in our system.”
