The AP and Coaches polls are a FAKE!

After six weeks of college football, Miami is undefeated (5-0, 1-0 ACC). The AP and Coaches polls have the Canes ranked #2 and #3, respectively.

Why? Who’s better?

College football analysts across the nation are saying Miami is the “best team in the country” right now. PFF is saying it. CBS is saying it. ESPN is saying it!

But the AP and Coaches polls still have Miami at #2 and #3, respectively.

Miami has the best resume, beating three ranked teams (Notre Dame, FSU, USF) and a very good Florida team.

But the AP and Coaches polls still have Miami at #2 and #3, respectively.

The voters still stand behind the Big Ten’s biggest brand, Ohio State. Ok, the Bucks also have a great defense. Fair. But are they a better balanced team? Do they have a better resume? At the time, OSU’s opening win against Texas looked very good. But not so much anymore. Meanwhile, Miami’s opening win against Notre Dame is looking better and better as the season progresses.

Miami clearly has the nation’s best trenches in the country, led by the best player in college football, defensive end Rueben Bain, Jr. and by future first round offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa.

But the AP and Coaches polls still have Miami at #2 and #3, respectively.

Miami’s balanced offense is led by veteran surgeon quarterback Carson Beck with America’s most dynamic true freshman wide receiver Malachi Toney and bruising running back Mark Fletcher. They can beat your brains out with muscle and/or speed.

But the AP and Coaches polls still have Miami at #2 and #3, respectively.

BOTTOM LINE:

The AP voters are conference and brand bias. The coaches don’t even watch the games, yet vote for the brand names.

Let’s call it like it is! The AP and Coaches polls are FAKE!

Miami, at this time, is the “best college football team in the country!”

GO CANES!
