Dropped like a rock!

After losing their first game of the season against a good Louisville team, Miami dropped from #2 to #9 in the latest AP Poll on Sunday.

The seven-place drop is the second largest (LSU) by a ranked team this season, despite owning one of the best resumes in college football.

Conference bias? Or school bias? It doesn’t matter because the Canes earned the loss.

Miami was also passed by ACC conference foe, Georgia Tech (#7).

The ACC has four schools (Georgia Tech - #7, Miami - #9, Virginia - # 16 and Louisville - #19) ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll .

Miami (5-1, 1-1 ACC) will host Stanford (3-4, 2-2 ACC) next Saturday, Oct. 25, at Hard Rock Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET, with national television coverage on ESPN and radio coverage on 560 AM-WQAM .
