Syracuse is also dealing with injuries, notably quarterback Steve Angeli (out), OC Joshua Miller (out), starting center Austin Collins (questionable), starting guard TJ Ferguson (questionable), DE Denis Jaquez (questionable), linebacker Gary Bryant (probable) and offensive tackle Trevion Mack (probable).

BOTTOM LINE:

Five starters and a key backup is a lot to absorb. The Canes’ depth will be very important this week. Miami will look to CharMar Brown, Jordan Lyle, WR JoJo Trader, CB Ethan O’Connor, DT Justin Scott, LB Popo Aguirre and LB Chase Smith to play larger roles in this game.
