Markeith Williams to enter transfer portal

On Monday, Miami junior safety Markeith Williams has announced his intention to enter the transfer portal. There are reports he was dismissed from the team for violation of team rules.

Markeith Williams is a third-year player who hasn’t played much at Miami. With the emergence of true freshman Bryce Fitzgerald, Markeith found himself down the depth chart with not much chance to play in the future. He has struggled with gaining weight over three years in Coral Gables.
