Miami rises in AP Poll

After powering past Florida, 26-7, Miami has risen to #2 in the weekly Associated Press poll of college football, up from #4 last week.

Ohio State remains at #1, with Penn State at #3, LSU at #4 and Georgia at #5. Oregon continues at #6, with Oklahoma, Florida State, Texas A&M and Texas rounding out the top ten.

The Canes are the highest ranked ACC team. The ACC now has three teams in the top twenty-five (Miami #2, FSU #8, and Georgia Tech (#16).

Miami has a bye week coming up as they prepare to travel to Tallahassee to take on FSU on Saturday, October 4th at Doak Campbell Stadium.
