Portal gives…and it takes away

Miami and programs across the nation are scrambling the day after the national championship game as hundreds of players enter the Transfer Portal.

Miami lost four additional players to the portal ton Tuesday, including QB Emory Williams, OL Deryc Plaza, CB Amari Wallace and LB Bobby Washington. They join eight other former Miami players who entered the portal earlier this month.

Miami’s roster going into spring practice now stands at 88 players. The new NCAA roster maximum is 105.
