Luke is from Alpharetta, Georgia and Milton High School. At 6’-2”/205, Luke is four-star blue-chip quarterback prospect. He is an Elite 11 finalist.
Luke committed to Miami in the. summer of 2023 and remained strong to that pledge through the entire recruiting cycle despite strong efforts from Oregon, Florida State, South Carolina. Other schools, such as Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, and Virginia Tech were also in the mix.

Over his three-year high school career, Luke has 36-6 record as a starter, passing for 9,127 yards and 94 touchdowns. As a junior, Luke led Milton to a 13-2 record and a Georgia AAAAAAA state title, completing 277 of 419 pass attempts (66.1%), 3,914 yards, 39 TD, 5 INT while rushing for another 181 yards and 6 TDs. As a junior, Luke was named a MaxPreps second-team All-American.
His combined stats over the last two years is very impressive, passing for 6,620 yards and 70 CDs with only 12 interceptions. He's was 26-2 as a starter over those seasons, including a state title in Georgia’s highest classification.
Here is what 247Sports says about Luke.
A full-field reader that's at his best when looking to attack the second-level of a defense. Size hasn't been verified in a while, but in-person evaluations suggest that he's over 6-foot and likely hovering around 200 pounds. Throws an accurate, catchable ball and can beat coverages with touch. Will pick apart defenses when plays stay on schedule and the pocket is kept clean. Has already been asked to make pre-snap adjustments and does a favorable job of disguising his intentions. Not afraid to take a deep shot, but arm can present some limitations. As a sophomore, led his team to a 10-4 record and the state semifinals in one of the Peach State's higher classifications. Must keep progressing, but has some of the tools required to win games on Saturdays. Could thrive in a balanced, timing-based system that wants to get the ball to playmakers in space.
Luke is set to enroll early at Miami in January.
Welcome to the U, Luke! Welcome to the family!
GO CANES!
