QB Emory Williams to enter the Transfer Portal

Miami quarterback Emory Williams will enter the transfer portal, according to 247Sports on Tuesday.
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, is projecting Williams to East Carolina (ECU).
At 6’-5”/225, Williams appeared in 12 games over theist there seasons. He has thrown for 813 yards, four touchdowns, completing 62.9 %, with two interceptions.
The Canes will now have only three quarterbacks (Judd Anderson, Luke Nickel, Dereon Coleman) left on the roster this spring after Carson Beck exhausted his eligibility on Monday.
Miami must now find an additional quarterback, if for no other reason than depth.
