Miami tight ends coach Cody Woodiel is expected to leave the Miami coaching staff for Ole Miss to become the Rebels' co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach.

Coach Woodiel, a native of Mississippi, came with coach Cristobal from Oregon, first as an analyst and then as tight ends coach in 2023. He has been a strong recruiter for the Canes during his time in Coral Gables, instrumental in landing Elija Lofton, Gavin Mueller, Artavius Jones, Brock Schott, Israel Briggs, Markel Bell and Luka Gilbert.
