SWEEP! Miami bombs Creighton, 15-5!

Miami bombed Creighton, 15-5, on Sunday to sweep the three-game series at Light Field.

Miami (18-6) used power and speed to defeat Creighton (9-11). The Canes blasted four home runs and stole four bases in the victory. It was Miami’s fourth straight win.

Miami totaled 12 hits on the day. Derek Williams led the way at the plate, collecting three hits including a home run, his eleventh of the season. Jake Ogden, Alex Sosa and Brylan West also hit home runs, each knocking in two runs.

On the mound, Miami starter Lazaro Collera went 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on three hits, while walking one and striking out six.

Miami hosts Florida Atlantic (FAU) on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. ET, with coverage on ACCNX.
