The 2025 college football season has witnessed double-digit FBS head coach firings by mid-season. This coaching carousal has never spun faster or been hotter.

Head Coaching Openings: Florida, Penn State, Oregon State, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Stanford, Colorado State, UAB, Kent State

These eleven schools have verbal commitments from a total of 155 high school prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. And with Mike Norvell on the hot seat in Tallahassee, we may add another 25 FSU recruits to add to the list.

If Miami can right the ship and goes onto the ACC Championship Game, will Mario Cristobal and his staff circled back to make a final push to flip some in this talent pool.
