Miami’s 2025 receivers are exceeding expectations in 2025. However, Miami must reload with quality recruits in the 2026 class due to the graduations (3) after this season.
Miami's seniors include CJ Daniels, Tony Johnson and Keelan Marion.
The projected starters in 2026 are Joshisa Trader, Malachi Toney and Joshua Moore, with Ray Ray Joseph, Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and Daylyn Upshaw as the backup rotation.
Assuming there are no de-commitments before the early signing period, the Canes will welcome true freshmen Somourian Wingo, Vance Spafford and Tyran Evans in 2026.
Miami would like to sign at least one more 2026 prospect. At this time, the Canes are targeting Calvin Russell, Marquez Daniel, Milan Parris and Jasen Lopez. All are committed to other schools, thus must flip their commitment to Miami over the next nine weeks or so.
BOTTOM LINE:
Miami is in good shape at the wide receiver positions but must continue to stack blue chip talent and depth for the future.
