Miami must replace five defensive linemen on the roster in 2026. The Canes solidified their interior on Friday when former Nebraska defensive lineman Keona Davis announced he is transferring to Miami.

Keona is the ninth transfer to Miami this cycle. Keona has two years of eligibility remaining.

At 6’-5”/275, Keona brings Big Ten game experience, production and versatility. In 2025, he totaled 406 snaps in 13 games. He can play defensive tackle and defensive end. He totaled 32 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, ten quarterback pressures and zero missed tackles last season, per PFF.

Welcome to the U, Keona! Welcome to the brotherhood.

GO CANES!
