Miami didn’t waste any time after landing their 2027 quarterback recruit Israel Abrams. On Thursday, 2028 quarterback prospect Knox Annis (Jacksonville, FL - Mandarin) announced his commitment to the Canes.
At 6’-3”/205, Knox chose Miami over Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pittsburgh among his current 19 scholarship offers.
In 2025, as a sophomore, Knox threw for 2,203 yards (60.2%) with 22 TD and 10 INT. He added 34 carries for 330 yards and 1 TD. As a freshman in 2024, he threw for 1,349 yards and nine touchdowns against eight interceptions.
Knox plays at the same high school that produced former Miami quarterback Carson Beck.
