Canes rise in AP Poll…

After the Canes’ dominating 49-12 victory over #18 South Florida on Saturday, AP voters moved Miami up to #4 in the nation on Sunday.

Miami (3-0, 0-0 ACC) garnered three first-place votes and received 1,434 points in the weekly poll. The Canes trail only Ohio State, Penn State and LSU this week.

Miami is the highest ranked ACC team, which also includes # 7 Florida State (2-0, 0-0) and #18 Georgia Tech (3-0, 1-0).

Miami will host in-state rival Florida Gators on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.
