After #5 Miami’s dismantling of Bethune-Cookman, 45-3, on Saturday, the Canes open as as 16.5-point favorites to upend surprising #18 South Florida this Saturday.


South Florida opened their season with two upset wins over ranked teams (Boise State and Florida). The Bulls have generated 763 total yards of offense in the first two games, averaging 28.0 points per game and their defense has given up gave up only 23 total points in those two wins.


The Bulls are led by senior quarterback Byrum Brown, who has thrown for 473 yards (65.0%), 1 touchdown and no interceptions, while rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns. USF receivers are led by junior Keshaun Singleton with 7 receptions for 168 yds and two touchdowns (24.0 apr).


Miami has totaled 867 total yards of offense against Notre Dame and Bethune-Cookman. Senior quarterback Carson Beck completed 42-55 passes (76.4%) and four touchdowns. Miami’s receivers were led by true freshman Malachi Toney with 12 reception for 162 yards (13.7 avg) and one touchdown.
