Miami has landed the commitment of former Rutgers transfer linebacker Mohamed Toure on Thursday evening.

Toure is the nineteenth transfer in the Miami class this cycle. He chose Miami over Penn State, Indiana and North Carolina.

At 6’-2”/235, Mohamed is rated 86, ranked the #56 LB in the transfer portal this cycle.

In 2024, Mohamed was out all season with a torn ACL. However, when healthy in 2023 and under the coaching of current Miami defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman, Mohamed had 93 tackles, ten tackles for a loss, and 4.5 sacks.

With the addition of Mohamed, Miami now has one of the best and deepest linebacker groups in the ACC.
