Taking account… (Part 7 )
For decades, the NCAA has struggled to keep the association viable and alive. It needs to be fixed. I have a plan! My plan may not be perfect, but it will begin to fix the problems facing the NCAA. I’m not professing to get rid of the NCAA. Just restructure and streamline it. In part SIX of this series, we formed a new association, changed the eligibility rules, changed the transfer portal parameters, and made college student-athletes employees. Wow, that was breath taking. T

Circling back in the Bayou…?
With the news of Brian Kelly’s firing at LSU, concern is already growing in Baton Rouge regarding the impact on the Tigers’ 2026 recruiting class. Are there any LSU verbal commits that would be of interest to Miami? While not having any direct knowledge, we feel the Canes may have interest in three current Tiger commitments. Miami’s interest may be focused on LSU’s defensive line commitments. It’s an area of need for the Canes. EDG DeAnthony Lafayette Miami has been trying t

“...in football you keep working”
Miami entered the Stanford game with a game plan that called for the offense to run first, pass to compliment and keep the Cardinal defense honest. But the best laid plans can go asunder. After Stanford scored quickly on their first series, the natural tendency could have been to turn to the air to get back into the game. Miami did not hit the panic button. During his weekly appearance on The Joe Rose Show on WQAM, Miami head coach Mario Cristobal shared his thoughts on sta

STANFORD VS. MIAMI
October 25, 2025 Our Miami Hurricanes got back to playing fast and physical on defense and using the power rushing attack to run away from Stanford, 42-7, on Saturday night at Hard Rock Stadium. Still, the bias AP voters wanted more blood, dropping the Canes into a tie at #10 in the nation. As is our custom, we award “Games Balls” to the Canes who made significant contributions to victory. This week we present a host of game balls in victory. Defense: Except for a brief time
